What are Premier Inns?

Best Premier Inn to Stay in London
So for those of you unfamiliar, Premier Inns are a UK chain hotel known for their bright purple branding and budget accommodation that is perfect for families visiting London on a budget.
The chain isn’t necessarily known for having any thrills but all Premier Inn rooms have:
- an en-suite bathroom, comfortable beds with duvet,
- remote control TV,
- tea and coffee making facilities in room, and
- desk area.
There are also hairdryers and irons available.
However if you want a London hotel with a pool then Premier Inn is not the right choice for you as no Premier Inn has a pool.
Also if you are looking for somewhere to stay in London for families then Premier Inn is a great option as they offer cots and rooms in select locations with sofa beds that can accommodate families. If you are traveling to London with a baby or London with a toddler check out these posts.
So if you are traveling to London on a budget or with kids then Premier Inns could be the best answer on where to stay. And if you are going to London be sure to check out our itineraries:
Note: As well as Premier Inns there are a secondary brand by this chain called Premier Inn Hubs. These are of a similar standard to regular Premier Inns but are much smaller more akin to Japanese hotels. We prefer staying at the regular hotels and if you are traveling with lots of luggage or with kids to London then you will want to stay at a regular Premier Inn instead of a Hub.
But as Premier Inns are located across the Capital which is the best Premier inn in London to stay at?

If you are traveling out Heathrow Airport very early in the morning and want to stay close to the airport, there are three Premier Inns at Heathrow Airport.
They are:
depending on which terminal you are flying out of will depend which of these Premier Inns are best for you.
Although it is worth noting it is easy to travel from Heathrow to London but I always prefer staying in the airport grounds for very early morning flights.
Premier Inns Further Out of London
The hotels listed above are perfect for those who want to stay in the very centre of London. However if you are looking for more budget options then hotels that are slightly further outside of London are usually better values than those that are in Zone 1.
